Home for the Memories - August 2, 2010
This year, 2010, will mark the 10th anniversary of the last big multi-year Amalgamated Regional High School Reunion in Corner Brook. Planning has already started to hold another reunion next summer for anybody who attended the high school for any period of time during the years it was called Amalgamated. I'm sure we'll see you there! In the meantime this is a place to connect with old classmates. Tell us a little about yourself in our Guestbook!!

Submissions of old pictures or other memorabilia are welcome. However, please make sure they are of relatively good viewing quality and in jpg format. (There is no way I can improve the quality of a picture after I receive it). You may submit them via e-mail at the link just above or by clicking the link at the bottom of this page. If you live in Corner Brook and don't have a scanner, e-mail us and we will arrange to get the items. _______________________________________

Do you remember all those summer days and nights during our high school years? What a wonderful time of life it was!! And what better place could we have spent our teenage years in but Corner Brook? Bright sunshine, warm summer breezes, good friends and lots to do! Roller skating! Strolling down West Street! Swimming at Margaret Bowater Park! Or just hanging out with our friends!
We hope this short video taken from "Crow Hill" triggers great memories for you!
This video may also be viewed on our "Current Photo Albums" page - listing on upper left of this site. (For maximum quality in our albums view click "view HQ video" - above picture. To enlarge to full screen, click the little square on bottom right of the photo frame.)

Every day's a great day for hockey ~ Mario Lemieux

Of all the momentous things that happened during those years of our lives, sometimes when we think back to high school, it's the silly things that first pop into our minds.
Share some of your idiotic memories of high school with us!
Meeting new people with similar interests. Gaining confidence in ourselves through new experiences. Learning to rely on ourselves and gaining the tools to stand on our own two feet so that we can forge our own lives.
So many firsts.... First driver's license! First car! First kiss! First love! Coming of age!
Couldn’t sharing this collective experience at that particular time in our lives be 'what it is about going to high school with someone that makes you feel you’re automatically friends for life'?
What do you think?
Where we love is home, home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts.-Oliver
